Submit Your Story + Portrait

TRANSCENDIENTS: Immigrant Stories of Place is highly dependent on community participation. That is why we are asking for the community to share their immigration stories (along with a portrait). The stories and portraits received will become the foundation for the artwork. Portraits will be projected and re-photographed through vapor to create contemporary works of art to be showcased within the installation. Audio-accounts of stories will also be captured to create 3D soundscapes to create a truly immersive experience.

* If you would like to submit anonymously, please write "Anonymous" in "Subject's Name". Please note the portrait submitted will be re-photographed through vapor and in some cases will be unrecognizable.

* The photos submitted will be treated with deepest respect. Stories can come from your own experience as an immigrant yourself, or the immigration story of a friend or family member.
