TRANSCENDIENTS: Immigrant Stories of Place is highly dependent on community participation. That is why we are asking for the community to share their immigration stories (along with a portrait) HERE. The stories and portraits received will become the foundation for the artwork that populates the exhibit. Portraits will be projected and re-photographed through vapor to create contemporary works of art to be showcased within the installation. Audio-accounts of stories will also be captured to create 3D soundscapes to create a truly immersive experience. Do you or someone you know have a moving story of immigration to the United States? Share your story and portrait by clicking HERE.
